(LAS VEGAS) — Tribal leaders and tribal representatives from across Indian Country have begun applying online for registration to the 2nd Annual Tribal GREEN Symposium & Golf Tournament at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort (slated for November 13-15, 2018.)
The Symposium is being hosted by Native Network Consulting–one of the nation’s leading Women- and Native-owned companies. The event seeks to unite tribes, thought leaders, industry experts and decision makers with the information and talent they need to succeed in the new “GREEN” economy. The Tribal GREEN Symposium combines decades of experience with world-class resources to help tribes learn about `cannabis and hemp and to help tribes learn to navigate their way into the sector.
The 3-day symposium consists of a two-day conference going from November 13-14 and is followed by a day-long charity golf tournament hosted to support cannabis and hemp research.
Lavonne Peck, on of the Symposiums organizers explained: “There is a lot going on in the industry right now, and it is important to make sure tribes are well-informed before investing into this space. While there is a great deal of potential for economic development, there are an even greater amount of companies looking to over-promise and under-deliver. Our goal is to help arm tribes with the knowledge, tools and professional network to guard against the many predatory practices that we are seeing across the industry.”
“We invite all Tribal Leaders, Tribal Members, Economic Development Board Members, Tribal Attorneys, and Tribal Administrators to join us for this high-caliber event,” said Peck.
